What is a Code of Conduct and is it mandatory?
The Code of Conduct is a charter that Teleroute’s community members can commit to, it is not mandatory. All companies that sign the Code of Conduct undertake to respect all the conditions without exception to prove their reliability and trustworthiness.
Who has to commit to it?
A responsible and authorized person can commit to the Code of Conduct for his company; this person is responsible for implementing the Code of Conduct in his company and to make sure that all employees of the company respect the Code of Conduct in their day-to-day business activities through both personal leadership and business practice.
You want to commit to the Code of Conduct!
As a Teleroute customer you can subscribe to the Code of Conduct on your Safe Market Place tab in the Freight and Vehicle Exchange. Read the Code of Conduct and accept it online. Once you have committed to the Code of Conduct all the employees of your company using the Freight and Vehicle Exchange will be notified when they log in. And your company profile will be updated with the Code of Conduct label.
You would like to know if your business partner signed the Code of Conduct?
It’s simple; just use your Company and Warehouse search tool and enter the Company Name or Teleroute number. The Verification level icon and the Code of Conduct label on the Safe business indicators tab in the company profile indicate whether the company signed it.
Report a breach of the Code of Conduct
You have noticed that one of your business partners signed the Code of Conduct but is not acting in accordance with the rules! Please help us to maintain the safety of the market place and use our online "Abuse Reporting" tool or call your local helpdesk to report any abuse.
An International Business Security Panel will analyze the breaches and take the appropriate sanctions.
