Safety Tips

Doing business the safe way

“According to a recent investigation by the Transport Committee of the European Parliament, annual damages as a result of the organised theft of commercial vehicles and their loads in 2008 were estimated at some €8.2 billion in the European Union.” Road freight theft is an ongoing threat, with numerous gangs and organised elements operating throughout Europe. It is estimated that one in six European lorry drivers has been attacked over the past five years.
